Getting Started

Apple Business Manager (ABM)

Apple Business Manager (ABM) is free Apple portal that enables enterprises to simplify and automate the bulk management and deployment of corporate Apple devices, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and tvOS devices.

Each member library should create an Apple Business Manager account. See: https://business.apple.com/#enrollment

Purchasing

How items can be purchased

  • Directly from Apple
  • Through an authorized reseller
  • Through other sellers such as Amazon

ABM Enrollment

Items purchased directly from Apple or from an authorized reseller can be automatically added into the ABM portal through Automatic Device Enrollment. See: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204142

Other devices may be added using the Apple Configurator 2 if they are running iOS 11 or newer. Refer to this article for instructions: https://www.hexnode.com/mobile-device-management/help/add-ios-11-devices-to-dep-using-apple-configurator/

MDM Enrollment
