Edit Calendar

  1. Open ShareIt and login as an Admin.
  2. Staff Dashboard – ILL Admin – Participant record.
    • Scroll all the way down to the dates section in order to write which dates the library will be closed. (Or, click “holiday list.”) You can enter one day closures or multiple day closures (i.e. Thanksgiving Day and the day after).
    • If known, you may enter as many closing dates as will fit.
    • Enter the beginning date that the library will be closed and/or unavailable for lending. Press tab. Enter the ending date.
      • A library can be unavailable for lending ILLs and be available for borrowing ILLs simultaneously.
      • Be sure to follow the date standards = 00/00/0000
      • When the dates have passed, they will disappear from the participant record.
    • This calendar can be edited at any time.
    • Submit.

  1. Open Verso and login as an Admin.
  2. Staff Dashboard – Circ Admin – Circulation Parameters – Calendar Setup
    • Select location.
    • Select year.
    • The dates highlighted in gray indicate closures. To add closing dates, simply click on the date, and it turns gray.
      • Or, you can click set a library schedule and enter in date ranges to edit all at once.
    • This calendar can be edited at any time.
    • Submit.
