The library service levels in the Library Development Accreditation program of the Southwest Kansas Library System are adapted from those contained in 2016 Revision of Kansas Public Library Standards
Service Level | Population |
---|---|
Gateway Library | Fewer than 500 people |
Linking Library | 500 – 1,000 people |
Service Center | 1,000 – 2,500 people |
Service Center II | 2,500-10,000 people |
Level I Major Service Center | 10,000-25,000 |
Level II Major Service Center | 25,000-100,000 |
Major Resource Library | more than 100,000 people |
